Connecting to a display

Mixtile Blade 3 supports display connection either via HDMI or DisplayPort. It is recommended that you connect via HDMI.

Mixtile Blade 3 has two HDMI ports (top one is HDMI OUT & bottom one is HDMI IN). The HDMI OUT port is preferred for display connection.

Insert one end of the HDMI cable into the HDMI OUT port on your Mixtile Blade 3 and the other into an HDMI port on the display.

Via DisplayPort

Mixtile Blade 3 has two USB-C ports. Both support DisplayPort, but only the one closer to the corner supports USB PD 2.0 which is designed for power delivery. You’d better use the other one if you choose this way of display connection.

Insert one end of the USB-C into the USB-C port on your Mixtile Blade 3 that is closer to the corner and the other end into a DisplayPort port on the display.

Connecting to network

Mixtile Blade 3 has two RJ45 Ethernet ports.

Insert one end of the Ethernet cable into an RJ45 Ethernet port on your Mixtile Blade 3 and the other end into your router.

Connecting a keyboard and a mouse

As mentioned earlier, one of Mixtile Blade 3’s two USB-C ports is primarily used to connect power supply. The other one that is away from the corner is available for other uses, such as connecting a keyboard and mouse.

  1. Insert the USB-C connector of the hub to the USB-C port on your Mixtile Blade 3 that is away from the corner.
  2. Connect a keyboard and a mouse to the hub.

Powering on

Of Mixtile Blade 3’s two USB-C ports, only the one closer to the corner supports USB PD 2.0 and can be used for power delivery. Insert one end of the power adapter into this USB-C port and the other end into your the power outlet.

The connection of the preceding cables to Mixtile Blade 3 is shown below.

After power-on, Mixtile Blade 3 starts automatically. The power indicator LED lights up and the display starts, as shown in the following figure.
